do you think it would be possible to create an updated i18n that delegates to salt and/or a migration tool that updates source code to use salt?
It would be possible to do the first but the second is a lot harder - it could possibly done as a plug into to some refactoring framework ala IDEAs but it would take way more time than is useful.
I can not honestly see any advantage in doing the first as the end users gain nothing from the delegation. They can stick to using excalibur-i18n if they don't need or want an updated library.
