Anyone use thread or more importantly is anyone willing to step up and maintain it? The unit tests have been failing for a few years IIRC so my guess is no.
So I think the best move would be to axe it in favour of spice-threadpool @ http://spice.codehaus.org/threadpool/index.html in the short term and jdk1.5 concurrent in the long term.
This will involve * tag * remove from trunk * update website

What about doing it in favor of Doug Lea's Concurrent 1.3.4 ? That is what is used to provide the thread pools in Event, even while it was part of Excalibur Event.
Sounds good. I haven't used it before but if it is as good as the jdk1.5 concurrent (which is based on doug leas concurrent) then I be +1 for that
