I just stumbled upon a great time saving feature of Maven. I may be
the last person on earth not to have known about it. But just in case
I am not...
Give the "maven console" goal a try. It keeps Maven loaded in memory.
Any goal name can then be attained without having to initialize maven
every time. It even remembers the last goal so you can just hit return
to rerun it.
I no longer think Maven is slow :-)
Cheers,
Leif
