Hi Team,
Hope all is going well.
We've been doing some work here that involved using some of the
cornerstone components from Avalon SVN (specifically, connection, which
requires thread & sockets).
I've got them all up and running in Fortress which is cool, but since
they're using another metadata format there's no services.list/etc in
the jar files (is it phoenix's or merlin's format?). To get around this
I had to extend from the cornerstone component classes to add the @tags
so that the metadata generation works.
Does anyone have an idea whether it's possible, etc and how much effort
it would take to add support for this (ie. understanding components
defined with that metadata) to Fortress before I go digging into it when
I get the chance?
Just wanted to check to see if anyone's looked into this beforehand.
Cheers,
Marcus
PS. I'd originally sent a few messages to the list via NNTP/gmane -
should posting from gmane to the list work?
