Srikanth Sundarrajan commented on FALCON-1625:
----------------------------------------------

I have some context on how the website is built / managed. I can try to
streamline it and also write it up, so that updates to documentation is easier
going forward. To start with I would move the entire documentation from svn to
git repository, as git based doc updates is now supported by infra.

> Falcon website source-code links are broken

> The website (falcon.apache.org) Source Repository page
> (http://falcon.apache.org/source-repository.html) has three links, all of
> which are
> https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/falcon.git/falcon-website-general and
> don't work (the real link is shown in Documentation>Simple Setup).
> Shouldn't there be a "How to contribute to the Falcon project" page somewhere?
> There's also a page under the Falcon dropdown for SVN
> (https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/falcon/), but it doesn't show the details
> of the SVN repository.
> Is the website still in SVN while everything else is in git?
> Is there anything anywhere that describes how the website is built?
