I just now realized that the direction I had taken was based on our earlier
understanding that we will replace the import with the new lifecycle avatar.
Since the import has been released in 0.9 it will be a backward incompatible
change. We can provide a migration script which will help the users migrate
from old datasource and feeds to new datasource and feeds definitions.
