Balu Vellanki commented on FALCON-2030:

[~ajayyadava]
My understanding is that after FALCON-2023, there wont be any eviction if the
location path does not match time pattern. So this means non-time based feeds
will not fulfill the retention that customer will expect unless they use
lifecycle.

So we either have to fix retention, Or validate that user is using lifecycle
based retention.

> Enforce time partition pattern in the data location path in feed definition

> In feed definition, data location can be specified without time series
> pattern like below:
> <locations>
> <location type="data"
> path="/tmp/falcon-regression/RetentionTest/testFolders/"/>
> <location type="stats" path="/projects/falcon/clicksStats"/>
> <location type="meta" path="/projects/falcon/clicksMetaData"/>
> </locations>
