Pracheer Agarwal commented on FALCON-1851: ------------------------------------------ Hi [~ajayydv], that's the plan. First want to implement new policy for retention on the basis of the number of instances, then I will take this up. Also I want to thank you for preparing very detailed wiki page for this effort. That has cleared a lot of things. I will soon post the update on the new retention policy effort (FALCON-705). > Enable Replication as a lifecycle stage > --------------------------------------- > > Key: FALCON-1851 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-1851 > Project: Falcon > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Ajay Yadava > Assignee: Pracheer Agarwal > Labels: gsoc2016, mentor > > As part of FALCON-965 we introduced a new way of specifying different stages > of a feed. As part of FALCON-965 we moved retention to lifecycle framework. > As part of our plan to migrate completely towards lifecycle framework, we > would want to allow users to specify replication as a lifecycle stage as > well. > For more details please refer to [Wiki Page | > https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FALCON/Replication+as+a+lifecycle+stage] -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
