Venkatesh Seetharam commented on FALCON-86:
-------------------------------------------
bq. isEnabled in CatalogServiceFactory is looking for a different property key.
Exception can be misleading.
Good catch, will fix.
bq. REGISTRY url in examples are referred with thrift:// while the
HiveCatalogService is validating the url assuming it is http://. Is there a gap
?
I was trying to use http but I ran into issues as detailed in FALCON-96.
Decided to use thrift instead of http for the reasons mentioned in that jira.
Makes sense?
