Thanks everyone. Not sure an introduction is needed, but it is common practice; 42 years of age. Married with one son. Living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Started programming professionally in assembly & Basic back in 1984, and was early on the Java train in 1996 struggling with implementing remote procedures calls and serialization over buggy sockets in JDK 1.0.2. Had a pre-mature encounter with OSGi in 1999/2000 somewhere, when I ported my own service oriented framework to it, well before there was any implementation available, so disappointed I continued on my own path. First got active with Apache in JServ as a user, when Stefano Mazzocchi one day is delirious over something called Cocoon. Joined into that discussion quite heavily. Cocoon spawned Avalon, which I followed on a distance, but got pulled into that in 2003, which eventually led me full circle back to OSGi -> Oscar -> Felix.
