Hi all,
As Marcel mentioned in earlier posts a Deployment Admin donation was in
the works. I am pleased to announce that everything is in place for the
actual donation. All related files and some additional information can
be found on my employer's open source server at [1].
The current implementation can do the following:
- installs deployment packages
- supports fix packages
- persists deployment packages
- uses dependency manager
- can backup and restore bundle data
- support for resource processors
I wrote the code myself and my intention is to stay involved in further
development of the implementation. Reading the list (I was lurking
around for some time already, sorry for that :) ) I learned that there
already is a great interest in the Deployment Admin including plans to
further develop it, which is great! Have a look at the current
implementation and let me/us know what your findings are, I will gladly
help in resolving any possible issues people may encounter.
