It provides multiple (managed) incoming connections with autocomplete features, and color output (VT100), and is easily extensible through an extension mechanism for many of its features. The main goal from this exercise was to take a deeper look at the shell command (ref previous conversation on this list "org.apache.felix.shell.Command"); with the goal to promote its advantages, find its downsides and provide some feedback on improving it.
