As far as I know, Module Fusion (http://code.google.com/p/
modulefusion/) provides an hibernate bundle. I don't know if it use
the extender pattern, but it has worked during my few experiments with
it.

I couldn't find any further information about the progress of this
issue. Is there any progress at all? ;-)
The only thing I found was a sample Hibernate/Spring/OSGI project (http://code.google.com/p/voluble/wiki/OsgiHibernateSpringSpringDMSample
) which however doesn't implement the extender pattern.
Any hint?
