I also wanted to add that it would be relatively simple to implement
OBR in its current state so that you could deploy using Maven and then
consume via OBR.
This is exactly what we do with Tycho and p2 repositories. We deploy
using standard Maven and Nexus does the magic of making it look like a
p2 repository. We can do the same for OBR. Just incrementally change
the underlying metadata and respond with the repository.xml on demand.
