Hi Marcel, congratulations for this new initiative. Let me repeat here what I'm already saying to all my colleagues, Apache Felix is THE most vibrant and innovative open source community out there! > This has lead to the the announcement of EZDroid, the world’s first > open-source, collaborative platform for the safe deployment of > component-based software applications and content across Android, and other > Java supporting mobile devices. Incidentally I committed a couple of days ago a google code project at http://code.google.com/p/felix4android/ that automates the creation of the felix distribution for android, as explained in the felix documentation. Of course, you are miles ahead. One clarification though: in the ezdroid website you write "open-source, collaborative platform", but I don't see the code in the website (yet?). Are you going to release everything as open-source (android-specific extensions, tools and build/packaging)? > We are now inviting developers and other interested > parties to become part of the EZdroid community. I'm definitely interested to contribute. -- Filippo Diotalevi
