Resolution: Fixed
As expected, IE6 is not very developer friendly and does not support attaching
event handlers when dynamically generating the DOM. Using the innerHTML
property works, though.
So in Rev. 829792 I modified the DOM creation to be innerHTML based for input
element with the event handler ...
