We have such a plugin in karaf, see
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/karaf/trunk/webconsole/gogo/
Note it is dependant on our karaf console (mostly for all the jline stuff), but
you can still have a look.
If we could provide a common base, that would be nice.
