Regarding Pax Exam, in the "dependencymanager" I have created a separate
(sub)project to run all integration tests, especially to circumvent this issue.
That works pretty well.
I agree with Richard that it would be worthwhile to convert the bundle to be
1.4 compatible (or more formally, to have it run on the same execution
environment that Felix still runs on, CDC/Foundation 1.1 if I remember
correctly).
