thanks for the quick reply.

The problem is -- at least for two of the messages -- that they
originate from an approved committer subscribed to the list for quite
some time. So I would assume these messages will probably go through
through moderation at all.

But what you say is, that the Apache operated spam checker cannot do
anything with these mails -- probably because they have already been
identified as "valid" by previous checkers for because they have been
sent from a "clean" sending system ?
