I've committed an initial patch for this, which currently only does not
implement hooking of singletons. This patch required fairly significant changes
to the resolver to make it support multi-root resolves (previously it just
resolved one revision at a time). I need to step back and look at the changes
to the resolver and generalize them a little bit, since they are sort of hacked
in right now.
