I'd really appreciate it if a committer could take a couple minutes and apply patches for these issues:

(this one is getting in my way daily) https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-2887 This fixes an obvious bug in Properties and adds some simple capabilities for writing elements with comments and multi-line values that we'd like to use in at least karaf. (we can work around this by copying the class in karaf, but that's kinda dumb long term). many thanks david jencks
