Felix Meschberger updated FELIX-2871:
-------------------------------------

    Fix Version/s: http-whiteboard-2.3.0
                   http-2.2.2

The idea of embedding and importing at the same time is flexibility in terms of
what is installed in the framework. I don't think we really need this here.

I will change the Whiteboard bundle to not include "foreign" contents and just
provide its own stuff.

> i use both felix org.apache.felix.http.jetty &
> org.apache.felix.http.whiteboard bundles with my project, it seems that both
> these bundles export the same packages.
> is it possible that transitive dependencies could be excluded from the built
> bundles and Import-Package should be used to find required packages. (the
> base and api bundles)
> As it stands org.apache.felix.http.jetty includes the following embedded
> dependencies
> javax.servlet
> org.apache.felix.http.api
> org.apache.felix.http.base
> org.mortbay
> org.osgi.service.http
> org.apache.felix.http.whiteboard bundles includes
> org.apache.felix.http.api
> org.apache.felix.http.base
> is it not possible to just use Import-Package and not use the embedded
> dependencies
