The framework currently supports Java platform definitions up to Java 7 but is
lacking Java 8 definitions. This results in the framework not properly setting
up on Java 8 platforms.
Maybe we could create an interim definition based on the Java 7 definitions and
update the exports once the Java 8 platform API stabilizes ?
