Started work on this issue by defining and using Java constants for request
parameters which are not used as configuration properties (Rev. 1426546). Also
enhanced the client side JavaScript to make use of those constants (leveraging
the variable resolver).
I am not 100% sure whether we should change these values, though, because this
would break existing scripts making use of the existing HTTP-based API (even
though this has not been documented and is not officially supported).
