Just to clarify, the 2.5.0 release has been cancelled due to this bug:

which affects several use-cases (including ones that people new to OSGi would
use).
The staging repository was dropped and the tag was removed - but I was thinking
about staging the next build as 2.5.1 (as versions are cheap) rather than
confuse people.
But if people feel strongly about re-using versions while staging (hence this
thread to poll opinion) then I’ll re-stage the fixed build as 2.5.0
