Przemek Wesolek commented on FELIX-5058:
----------------------------------------
Can confirm this happen. The usage of older version is due to embedded in bnd
resolver.
On the [~jslain]'s screenshot the exception is thrown for {{origCap}} of
{{javax.script}}, for me it is for {{javax.crypto}}. What is common for our
cases is the {{hostResource}} of {{org.amdatu.jpa.api}} from "Amdatu Release"
repository on http://repository.amdatu.org/release/index.xml.gz. Can also
confirm, that disabling this repository (in bndtools UI) removes the exception.
The question is whether this is a Felix bug or a bnd's implementation of the
Resolver.

> I'm using bndtools, which is using Apache Felix Resolver 1.4.
> When I try to resolve runtime dependencies before launching, i get this
> ArrayOutOfBoundException: -1
> I don't exactly know if something cannot be resolved at all, or if it's a bug.
> If something doesn't resolve, I would expect to be notified about what's
> wrong.
