Do you have any idea why trying to connect jconsole would have any effect?
AFAIK the JMX related code has nothing to do with actual JMX usage, it is the
only way I could figure out to log a thread dump. It should only get called in
case of lock timeout in a deadlock situation. Do you have any stack trace
information or other logging output?
