This bug is still present in fileinstall 3.6.4.

OS: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (x86_64)
VERSION = 11
PATCHLEVEL = 0

Java: java version "1.8.0_131"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_131-b11)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.131-b11, mixed mode)

Product: ServiceMix 6.3.1 with fileinstall updated to 3.6.4

ServiceMix is installed on *remote file system, mounted locally* on /aplik 
directory.

Workaround:

in file org.apache.felix.fileinstall-deploy.cfg  set

*felix.fileinstall.disableNio2 = true*
