We addressed the following issues in this release:

* [FELIX-3581] - org.apache.felix.log.Log instates the thread without
meaningful thread name
* [FELIX-3623] - LogService lock contention under heavy load
** New Feature
* [FELIX-5880] - Add a framework extension fragment which helps load
Felix Log Service and Felix Logback when they are on the framework classpath
** Improvement
* [FELIX-5876] - Update to Log Service Specification 1.4
There are still some outstanding issues:
** New Feature
* [FELIX-5881] - Implement stream support from Log Service
Specification 1.4
** Improvement
* [FELIX-3993] - Add Permissions file in Log service bundle
Also included is a new Felix Log (framework) Extension which allows the
Felix log service (and optionally Felix logback) to be bootstrapped from
the framework classpath.
