As part of the fix for issue #6274 the refactoring ends up passing null to the
LoggerFactory.getLogger method for the logger name. This is not allowed by the
log service specification. The name Logger.ROOT_LOGGER_NAME should be used
instead of null.
This issue only exists in the latest master which has not been released yet.
