Hi Community,

This email cancels the current vote for Apache Fesod(incubating)
2.1.0-incubating-RC1.

Following the verification feedback (thank you to Shuxin Pan for the careful
review), the RC1 artifacts and the release tag were modified after this vote
opened: the files under the /2.1.0-incubating-rc1 dist directory were
replaced in revisions r87024 and r87026, and the release tag hash stated in
the update did not match the tag the repository actually pointed to when the
vote was being gathered.

As stated in the Apache Incubator Release Votes guidelines
(https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/INCUBATOR/Release+Votes), a
release vote applies to a single, immutable set of artifacts. Because the
candidate under vote was changed, this vote is hereby revoked, and any votes
already cast cannot be considered votes on the current contents.

Next step, we will prepare a fresh, immutable release candidate RC2:

- a new git tag and release branch (2.1.0-incubating-rc2)
- a new dist/dev directory (/2.1.0-incubating-rc2) with the signed source
  package, checksums, and signatures
- a new Maven staging repository with the PGP-signed artifacts

and then open a new vote for at least 72 hours.

RC2 will carry the same verified fixes that were re-signed and repackaged in
this round (PGP-signed staging artifacts, BOM-free .sha512, LF line endings
with an executable Unix mvnw, and the corrected NOTICE). A new VOTE email
with the exact RC2 tag hash and links will follow.

Best Regards,

Zhe Zhang
