Please have a look at current Twilio implementation https://github.com/openMF/message-gateway/tree/master/src/main/java/org/fineract/messagegateway/sms/providers/impl/twilio and SMSProviderFactory. It is easy to implement. Your implementation should extend SMSProvider. If it is still not clear, then let me know I will set up a skype call (Mostly after 9PM IST).
Note: I believe bulksmsgateway supports sending SMS. But doesn't support delivery feedback. Please validate your requirements and their support before starting the implementation.
