Thanks all for the help so far but still not working. Deleting the file should fix that error.
This is a generated file so deleting is of no effect as it'll be generated again in the next build. This happens when the the build tasks has been run before and later when > you run the rat tasks. It begins failing. This happens wether or not I run the *rat* task first. When I just do *gradle build* it also runs the *rat *which fails with that error. When I do *gradle rat* before *gradle build* the same thing happens. I'm using containers and a new container is created on every build. So previous executions of gradle could hardly be the problem here. I even added this "**/reports/rat/rat-report.txt" to the ignored files but still same error. Is it safe to remove the *rat* task completely from the build?
