Hi Teneng, GSoC Projects for 2020 have not been announced yet. Organizations have not even been selected. What you can do right now is to pick issues and fix in an effort to understand the code base.

Our project uses Java, Spring Boot and MySQL. 1.) Build you development environment 2.) learn how to use the features of Mifos X web App ontop of Fineract 3.) Pick simple starter issues and fix them and send PRs over the next few months. 4.) Improve documentations and contribute by helping others and asking questions on the mailing list. This will put you in a good position when it comes to GSoC. This goes to all students on list looking to do GSoC with our Community next year, 2020.
