Specific ask of GSOC candidates - If you are coming to the Fineract Dev
list for the first time, it is appropriate to have one or two sentences
explaining your area of interest.

If you are trying to figure out how to set up Fineract in your environment,
we ask that you try to follow the tutorials and examples provided in many
places before you ask questions.

>From our home page https://fineract.apache.org, there are several resources
listed. Please read them and search the listserv archives.... it could be
that your question was already answered.

We also link to Adam's useful fineract-academy ... which is really useful
for onboarding someone new to the project.

Please also review fully the steps required for any submission or PR (pull
request). I would say that even draft PRs or reference to your code fork
is a useful demonstration of learning, even if the PRs don't fully pass our
tests and don't make it into the dev branch. Afterall, the GSOC program is
about learning first and foremost.

Finally, if after you have perhaps solved a deployment issue on your
environment and think there may be useful insights please bring that back
to the listserv. That could be a new set of instructions or advice for a
new contributor.

Best of luck.

James
