Hello Fineract Community, I hope you’re doing well. I’ve successfully cloned the Apache Fineract repository and built the project locally using Java 21 on Windows. I’m currently completing the MariaDB setup via Docker so I can run the application end-to-end. I also have hands-on experience with Docker, containers, and local development environments, which helps me debug, test, and improve service setups efficiently. I’m really excited to start contributing and learning the internals of Fineract. To get familiar with the codebase and workflow, I’d love to begin with a Good First Issue or a beginner-friendly bug/task. Additionally, if there are any Docker-related files, container improvements, environment setup fixes, or DevOps-style tasks that need attention, I’d be very happy to help with those as well.
