+1 This is intended for active contributors who are not able to afford the travel, and would not otherwise be able to attend.
Note that the Apache conference (Community Over Code) is in the UK (Scotland) this year, and next year it is back in North America. Check your visa requirements early. Deadlines are firm. Suggest you apply by May 15th as there are several steps involved.
