Hello everyone, My name is *Abdulqayyum Ajibike*, a Computer Science student from Nigeria. I’m very interested in the *Loan Origination POC* project for GSoC under *Apache Fineract*.
I have experience working with *Java (Spring Boot)* and *Angular*, building RESTful APIs, implementing business logic, and designing backend systems. I’ve also worked on structured financial and transactional systems, which I believe align well with loan origination workflows and risk-based processing. I’ve been carefully reviewing the GSoC wiki pages, following the developer mailing list discussions, and reading through the context around the Loan Origination enhancement (including FINERACT-2418). I understand that this is a draft concept and that proposals are expected to be exploratory and self-driven. I’ve joined the Apache Fineract channel on Element to stay engaged with the community. At this stage, I would appreciate guidance on how best to proceed — particularly what areas I should focus on and how I can start contributing meaningfully.
