Woah that is wild! I'm using a very clean clone checked out to
fc6f3cc71309e7f1ca6ac8c8ece115adb5705cbd, and I don't think I'm doing
anything special with env vars or configs. Maybe something unrelated is
triggering this? Maybe some of the new command processing changes?
I was able to get it to work by applying the attached patch, but I don't
get how this isn't breaking for everyone.
