I like the days-based approach. Anu suggested something similar earlier, and I think it makes sense to simplify the PR and use a single N-day rule instead of the month-based behaviour. It's more flexible and easier to understand. Regarding the "force" transaction idea, I agree it could be useful for exceptional cases. I'd prefer to keep that as a follow-up so this PR stays focused, but we can certainly discuss the best way to support it. Regards, Abhishek
