Hello Fineract community, My name is Vamsi. I’m a backend software engineer with experience in Node.js, REST APIs, Kafka, banking-related systems, and cloud environments. I’m currently strengthening my Java and Spring Boot backend engineering skills and would like to contribute to Apache Fineract.
I’m particularly interested in Java backend development, lending/loan functionality, APIs, testing, and related backend work. I’m currently setting up the project locally and going through the contributor documentation. I’d be happy to start with a suitable beginner-friendly issue and learn the codebase properly.
