Yes, it is possible. In such a case Exception will be thrown by platform. But the actual problem of this issue is, we are trying to read the content two times on EofSensorInputStream. On first read, the wrapped stream object inside EofSensorInputStream is made null. So second read is failing. We are correcting the platform.
