Here are the meeting notes from today and an announcement about a monorepo migration.
- Userale has had some big changes since last release, so we could do a 3.0.0 release when ready. - https://docs.astral.sh/uv/ is a possible replacement for poetry in distill, if the poetry 2.0 / python 3.8 incompatibility becomes a greater issue. - @poor...@apache.org can you help get Ryan Thenhaus commitership? He has an apache id, but is not a commiter yet. I’m going to move forward with migrating to a monorepo in accordance with @ejo...@apache.org's RFC linked here (https://github.com/apache/flagon/issues/44). I expect to do this within the next two weeks. Here’s what the timeline will look like. - Send a warning to stop all activity in all repos. - Move all files and issues to the flagon repo and organize special files (GitHub actions, .asf.yaml, etc). - Add a disclaimer to the distill and userale repo readme’s pointing to their new homes. - Publicly archive distill and userale. (Does anyone know how to do this? If not, I will contact Apache infra). - Notify dev to continue activity in the flagon repo. - Update website links. - As future work, explore something like https://turbo.build/ to better manage the monorepo.
