There isn't much history that matters.  Falcon came from Perforce without
history.  I checked one file and it is accurate.

I still don't understand how to use Git to see the files in a branch.  I
cloned flex-asjs and am trying to get the develop branch files.  I did:
    git checkout develop
But it is instantaneous, and the folders I see are not right.  What am I
missing?
