I was just digging around to try and find a summary of the activities
surrounding moving Flex beyond the Flash Player and had a hard time finding
it. The mailing list definitely has a bunch of info, but it is tough to
get down to the real info, especially given the massive amount of
noise/griping on the subject.

I eventually found the AS3JS
page<https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FLEX/ASJS+-+From+Flash+Player+to+web+native>in
the wiki, but it is not listed on the main wiki page (only in the
sidebar). It would be great to list it there. I can't edit or I'd do it
myself.

Given the popularity of the subject (and importance for Flex survival,
perceived or not) it would be nice to capture the discussions and activity
somewhere a bit cleaner. I would bet that a large number of
flex.apache.orgvisitors come looking explicitly for that info.

More than just getting that page on the main page, it might be nice to get
a bit more info in there under a heading like "Moving beyond the Flash
Player". A large number of options have been raised and/or discussed on
the mailing list (Haxe et al), and listing them with email links would be
handy to see where people's heads have been at. Sections like "Discussed,
but no known activity (Haxe, etc)", "Work started but current status
unknown", and "Active projects paths (Alex's FlexJS, the 'goog' way, etc)
would be fantastic.

I can't directly edit the wiki, but I can help aggregate some of that info
if people feel it is useful.
