As I said in an earlier reply, absent the Install Log from three days ago I
cannot reliably answer the questions as to which boxes were checked, I can
only tell you that to the best of my knowledge all boxes were checked and I
can reliably state that the install ran to good conclusion leaving me an
apparently valid set of files and directories. However, since I still
have that result I can see that there is no batik.jar, although I cannot
positively state that my suite of fonts requires the batik font support.

I can now, after just completing a new download -- all boxes checked, ran
to good end of job -- that I did get a batik.jar this time AND, lo and
behold, now the application compiles.

I will post whatever I should in JIRA, but please pass along the suggestion
to OM that he maintain a complete audit trail of installation logs in the
user's application storage directory. That's what it is there for and AIR
users are perfectly comfortable with going there to look for information as
well as knowing that they should periodically do housekeeping if disk space
is more important than history.

> > Existing AIR application with embedded fonts compiles properly with Flex
> 4.6 SDK but fails with Apache 4.10.0.
> > Apache air-config.xml is identical between the two environments, but
> when I look at the contents of the two lib directories there seem to be a
> lot of font-related jar files missing. The ones from batik seem
> suspiciously absent, but a diff of the Apache lib and Flex lib directories
> ought to be an easy way to compare for critical dependencies.
