Also the fact that Adobe CS/CC tools export to FXG indicates that a programmatic spec document shared among these tools. It seems like the XSD for MXML is missing from the donation as well. This used to get shipped with the sdk [1] Is it possible that FXG was merged into MXML or MXMLG's xsd?
