We wouldn't have to hand over credentials of a Google account. We can add
any number of individual Google accounts to the Analytics account. All
users have can have all or combinations of these permissions:

* Manage Users
* Edit
* Collaborate
* Read & Analyze

We could perhaps give only the "Read & Analyze" permission to
non-committer/PMC members.

Thanks,
Om
