That's likely to be a Flash Player bug not a BlazeDS one - at a guess. If you 
send "raw" dates about the FP can compensate for daylight savings time 
incorrectly, ie use the current daylight savings time not the correct dates 
from previous years.

There's no way that I can think of that AS workers could be used to improved DG 
rendering performance. Anyone have any suggestion on how this might be done?
