Would it be simple to have the installer try to write/create a small
file, and if there is an exception or it doesn't appear when you read it
back, then let the user know ?

It's probably not running as administrator and C:\Program Files will need
admin rights. Just install it some where else first and I bet it will work

I installed next week without a problem.
Try again in another folder.
Use the installer and select all the options.

I have Adobe Flash builder 4.7 Standard software.I created a new folder in
sdk folder and named as 4.10.0. I tried to download 4.10 sdk to my sdk
folder (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 (64
Bit)\sdks\4.10.0). But after selecting the installation path and click of
Next, the installation is aborted.
Any one experienced this issue? Can some one help me with the installation..
